Ozzy's 1 year old Cake Smash!

You could say Ozzy is one of my poster babies... he's on my business card and he's been coming to see me since he was in his Mommy's tummy! Well Ozzy is now one year old! He's a total comedian and gentleman. He did an amazing job with his cake!

Glowing - Maternity shoot - Penticton BC

I had the good fortune to be able to do Cassi's maternity photos for her last weekend. She's just the picture of beautiful pregnancy. Glowing like you wouldn't believe! Doesn't she look amazing?! I can't wait to meet the new addition! ♥

Eden my daughter's silly cat... he's decided that he should be part of a few photo sessions now... Good thing he's cute.

The lovely thing about having a studio is being able to control the environment.  It's really cold outside and we can pretend its cold in the studio.  Its the only way to go.

The snowflakes will be available for anyone who'd like them through the holiday season!  I think they'll also look great on a grey paper background as well!

Baby Nixon

Late October Welcomed baby Nixon into this world.  I haven't had many baby boys come visit the studio this year so he was a welcome subject.  And the perfect model too.  He slept for the first part of the shoot and then was wide awake for the rest.  His parents got the perfect mix of newborn baby photos.  He was also pleasantly bendy too after being a full 15 days old.

I had the pleasure of photographing 5 day old Grayson the other evening.  He was an absolute joy.  Sometimes sleepy, sometimes away but always adorable.  Newborns are my absolute fave.  They require just right amount of patience.

She was alert and checking me out the whole time!

Purple Sweater Dresses!

I had the pleasure of taking Christmas photos for this lovely family in my studio last weekend! The little one was a delight and her big sister was a wonderful ham! Dancing around and doing all kinds of crazy poses for me! They were great! And the purple sweater dresses... can I say more?! Love them!

I had the pleasure of capturing the beautiful ceremony and reception for Naomi & Damien this week. They ceremony was well thought out, intricate and moving. I was very lucky to be there just to capture all their smiles and joy on this special day. Here are just a few of my faves. <3

Beauty in the vineyard

There's always time for a quick photo shoot in the valley. We never have to look hard for lovely places to shoot. Red Rooster winery is a perfect example. Just after the sun went down we had wonderful golden light.

Natural light

I've decided that I need to spend more time on honing my craft. Natural light can be such a wonderful medium but I need to get out there a little more and experiment. Good thing I have such a lovely and happy to assist little model.

Baby Q only 5 days old!!!

I felt badly that I had missed the call for some late pregnancy maternity photos for his Momma but I did have the great fortune of being able to capture this precious little man who was such a good model for his photo shoot. He even smiled for us a few times!
